GMRE wins HC-130J Air Combat Command C4I Support contract

The GMRE team has successfully won the HC-130J Air Combat Command C4I Support contract. This $23.8 million dollar follow-on contract will run for 5 years starting on Sept. 16, 2022 to Sept. 15, 2027.

The HC-130J Situational Awareness Communications Upgrade (SACU) program is based on the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Air Mission Suite Enhanced Situational Awareness (SAMS-ESA) data-link system that requires specialized personnel for maintenance and training.  For this program, GMRE provides Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technicians to all HC-130J rescue squadrons (ACC, ANG, AFRC, and AFSOC) to support this system, both at home station and while deployed to Areas of Responsibility (AOR) worldwide.
