The GMRE Engineering Team successfully completed the trial installation of RTIC and MUOUS-V into the C-5M. This trial installation included hardware, software, shelving, harnessing and antennas.

The installation was completed in 6 weeks by our expert team, including two engineers and four installers, all with vast avionic and installation experience. While every project has challenges, the team was able to pull together and complete the trial with additional support from the Production and Engineering teams at GMRE headquarters in Ogden, UT and the SIL staff on-site at Robbins Air Force Base.

“The team worked hard to ensure all specs and requirements were met, including meeting the tight time schedule and deadline. Overall, everything ran smoothly thanks to our team effort and commitment to the customer.”

Brady Wilcox, GMRE Program Engineer

Next up, the team will conduct testing through 2024 before completing the final installation in fall/spring of 2025 which will also include implementing the JREAP-C software.
