GMRE recently attended the Tactical Secure Voice (TSV) Allied Stakeholder Event in Malvern, United Kingdom. This event was co-led by the United Kingdom (UK) National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and United States National Security Agency (NSA), to increase awareness of international TSV adoption, modernization objectives, and the actions needed by Allied nations for a successful transition to further a secure and interoperable future.
GMRE participated in this event alongside the US Navy PMA-209, bringing the newly launched MELS™ kit—an ARC-210 portable test set developed to research, analyze, design and test communication and situational awareness systems. It is built to fulfill the need for rugged, portable lab capability that can be used on the ramp, on an aircraft, or in an ops center.
Upon completion of a successful event and demo, the NSA TSVCIS Program office stated:
“We believe that the US Navy PMA-209 participation in this event was extremely beneficial to the TSV program and the overall US cryptologic ecosystem, including the education and demonstration of secure and interoperable tactical radio systems that are essential for the progression and operation of advanced US command-and-control capabilities with allied partner nations. Partner nations sponsors were ecstatic to hear updates about the AN/ARC-210, and the ability to see one in operation made this a mission-critical achievement.
