MELS™ is an ARC-210 portable test set developed by GMRE to be used for research, analysis, design, and testing of communications and situational awareness systems in the field of aviation. It was purpose-built to fulfill the emerging need for rugged, portable lab capability that can be used on the ramp, on an aircraft or in an ops center.
Reduces number of assets required for testing in the field. Can be utilized with existing antennas and ground planes or with the MELS™ antenna kit.
Can be integrated with existing SIL infrastructure to expand existing capabilities. Provides scalable radio integration platform from 1-n ARC-210 radios.
Designed to meet MIL-STD 810G and MIL-STD 704 requirements for airworthiness. Utilizes existing platform communications equipment. Works with any ARC-210 compatible full size control head.
