GMRE is Proud to Present: Operation Red Wing Rescue Mission, featuring Lt. Col. Jeff “Spanky” Peterson [Ret.]
Spanky is a retired HH-60 Combat Rescue Pilot that has 25 years of Air Force experience that includes 3 deployments to Afghanistan, numerous deployments overseas, and serving as the Combat Rescue Pilot in the successful rescue of Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell during Operation Red Wing.
Spanky retired and finished his 25-year career in the spring of 2016 as an Operational Test Pilot at the ANG/AFRC Test Center working closely with the SOF/PR Program Office, Air Combat Command (ACC) and defense industry. Spanky will be speaking about his rescue mission to save Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell and answering questions from the audience.
The presentation will begin at 0900 in the Robins AFB Theater. Admission to the event is free, but seating is limited and will be granted on a first come, first serve basis.
