GMRE is excited to announce Bart Hunsaker as the new Quality and Compliance Manager. In this role he will be responsible for ensuring GMRE complies with QMS and ISMS adhering to the industry standards (AS9100, ISO9001, ISO27001). Additionally, he will oversee quality processes, quality training, review supplier/customer quality data and provide feedback for process improvements.
Prior to this role, Bart was a Quality and Compliance Manager position in the Aerospace and Energy industries. Recently, working with the industrialization of the Sterling Engine in remote generators, where he managed quality policy, programs, and practices to assure compliance and continuous conformance. Including new product development, inspection methods and processes to meet customer market expectations.
Additional experience also includes roles in quality engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing, and safety. Maintaining product conformance, supplier quality, initiating inspection test plans, auditing for industrial standards & accreditation (i.e. ISO 900, AS9100, and Nadcap special processes).
Outside of work, he is a husband and a father of two married girls, has two grandchildren and a grand bulldog, Kya. He enjoys family activities such as boating, water skiing, camping, and riding his motorcycle. If you ever need him in a downtime, you can find him at the Caribbean of the Rockies – Bear Lake.
